Scott HS boys basketball team makes run to Final Four Scott HS wins 10th Region

Congratulations to the Scott High School boys basketball team, who made a run to the Final Four in the KHSAA Sweet 16 tournament.

The members of the Kenton County Board of Education are pleased to announce that Mr. Neil Stiegelmeyer has accepted their offer to serve as the Kenton County Interim Superintendent beginning April 1.

Turkey Foot's Abby Kane wins National Scholastic Writing Award Abby Kane

The Scholastic Writing Awards have completed their national judging and Turkey Foot 7th grader Abby Kane has won a distinguished Silver Medal for a personal narrative she wrote earlier this year.

Dixie Senior wins National Scholastic Art Award Over the Edge by Jack Reynolds

Congratulations to Dixie Heights senior Jack Reynolds, who has won a silver medal in the National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for his photograph titled "Over the Edge."

Congratulations to the Women's Engineering Academy Team 8660C Team 8660C

Team 8660C of the Women's Engineering Academy received the Judges Award at this past week's State VEX robotics Competition. 

Twenhofel Symphonic Band named Exemplary Performance Group Twenhofel Band

The Twenhofel Middle School Bands performed in Greaves Hall at Northern Kentucky University on Monday, March 6, for the Large Ensemble State Performance Assessment sponsored by the Kentucky Music Educators Association.

Leann Lewis named NKEA Teacher of the Year Leann Lewis

Congratulations to Leann Lewis of Simon Kenton, who was named the Northern Kentucky Education Association (NKEA) Teacher of the Year.

Support your school by attending the Florence Freedom game on Wednesday, May 24! Tickets are just $10, and $4 from every ticket sold will come back to your school! In addition, the Kenton County School District Family Resource Youth Service Centers will recieve a portion of the profits.

Lady Pioneer Basketball team wins 8th Region

Congratulations to the Simon Kenton girls basketball team, who won the 8th Region Tournament and earned a berth in the KHSAA Girls Sweet 16 tournament.

Dixie's Hunter Blair earns National Achievement Hunter Blair

Hunter Blair has been recognized with a national 2017 Yes I Can Award Nomination by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) as part of its annual convention on April 21 in Boston.

UpSpring Summer Employment Opportunities

After a wildly successful first year, the Kenton County School District is continuing our work with UpSpring to provide a summer camp for our students who are homeless.   The camp is a healthy mix of academics and new experiences for students.  This will not only be a great summer job but an awesome opportunity for our staff members to continue making a difference this summer.
