Simon Kenton Girls Soccer headed to 3rd straight state tournament Simon Kenton girls soccer

Congratulations to the Simon Kenton High School Girls Soccer Team. They are on their way to their third straight state tournament after defeating Oldham County in penalty kicks in the eighth region final.

Kenton Elementary Students network with DreamWakers

Fifth grade students in Mrs. Reynold's class at Kenton Elementary had the opportunity to network with the DreamWakers organization.

Congratulations, Dixie Art Club! Dixie Art Club

The Dixie Art Club participated in sidewalk chalk paintings at CliftonFest in Cincinnati.

New online employment application system beginning Monday, October 16, 2017

Please be advised the Kenton County School District will convert to a new employment application system on Monday, October 16, 2017. The link to the new application system will be available at 8:00 am on 10/16/17.  Please visit the Human Resource’s webpage for more information related to this exciting change!

Congratulations to Hinsdale Elementary! They were the Regional Winner for for Kentucky’s High Attendance Day in the large elementary category this year!

Kenton County celebrates state test scores

The 2017 Kentucky State Report Card has been released, and once again, the Kenton County School District is classified as Distinguished!  

The Kentucky Department of Education did not label schools based on the 2017 data as the state accountability model is transitioning to a new accountability model.  However, to honor the work and maintain continuity in the interim, the district utilized the same formula to assign designations to the schools and district. 

Beginning Sept. 18, students allowed to enter buildings 50 minutes before start

Beginning Monday, Sept. 18, students will be allowed to enter their school building up to 50 minutes before the start of school.
