Woodland art student wins award at KC Fair

Presley Poe, an Advanced Art Student and 8th grader at Woodland Middle School, placed Best In Class for her acrylic painting at the Kenton County Fair.

Register for Little Pioneers basketball camp

Simon Kenton Basketball is hosting the “Little Pioneer” program for boys and girls in grades kindergarten thru third grade (K-3). This program will focus on the fundamentals of the game as well as 5-on-5 play.

Dixie teacher artwork featured at UK

Congratulations to Dixie Heights art teachers Terri Schatzman and Jennifer Baldwin, who will have their artwork displayed at the University of Kentucky Education Area and The School of Art and Visual Studies exhibit.

Six KCSD schools recognized by Children, Inc.

Children, Inc. Service Learning Initiative, its sponsors and The Jefferson Award Foundation, with help from the Kenton County public library branches, will be recognizing six Kenton County District schools as 2014-2015 Schools of Contribution in a public poster exhibit.

Dixie student is National Merit Semifinalist

Congratulations to Dixie Heights senior Cole Weirich, who has been named a National Merit Scholarship semifinalist.
