Welcome to the Learning Garden! I am Mrs. Locklear. This is my 12th year teaching and my 9th year at White's Tower. I'm so proud to be a teacher at White's Tower since I was a student here many, many years ago. Before coming to White's Tower, I taught in Vestavia Hills, Alabama for three years. As far as my education, I am a product of Kenton County Schools. I attended White's Tower, Twenhofel, Woodland, and Scott. After graduating high school, I received my Bachelor's Degree from Thomas More College in Early Childhood Education. After teaching for a while, I went back to school and completed my Master's and Rank I from Xavier University in Education Administration.
On a more personal note, I have been married to my wonderful husband, Brian, for twelve years. We have a beautiful daughter, Hannah, who is the greatest blessing in our lives. She turned 2 on April 1st. We also have a pug, Peanut, who has been part of our family 13 years. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family whether it's at the park, shopping, or just hanging out at home. I also enjoy scrapbooking and sports, especially soccer.
