My name is Susan Noyes, and I am thrilled to be teaching 6th grade Math. I have lived in this area all my life and have been teaching in Kenton County for 21 years. I began teaching at Turkey Foot and taught here for the first six years of my career and then moved to Summit View Middle School in Independence. I enjoyed eleven great years at Summit View and four years ago came back to where I started, Turkey Foot. It feels like home to me!
I have been married to my husband Jamie for twelve years. We have four children and an old cat named Floyd. I can tell you that there is never a dull moment at my house! Some things that I enjoy outside of teaching are spending time with my family, running, biking, listening to music, reading, and relaxing at our neighborhood pool. Teaching and learning are my true passions, ones that I have enjoyed my entire life. This year we will explore new ideas, learn, problem solve, and grow.
I am very excited to start anew this school year. One great thing about teaching is having time in the summer to reflect, renew, and plan for another year of learning. I look forward to getting to know all of my students this 2013- 2014 school year!
