The Kenton County School District has established the Synchronous Learning Center (SLC). By providing this service to our students, it will allow the KCSD to provide instruction in all models. This program is an option for KCSD families who have children in grades 4-8 (and any K-3 students who have requested a change to in-person learning, but due to limited space in the home school, the school cannot accommodate the change). The SLC will be open from 7:40 to 3:40 following the KCSD calendar. Students will come to the SLC on days they are scheduled to do Synchronous Learning. There will be a certified SLC coordinator, a certified teacher, and Instructional Assistants available to support the learning needs of the students. Transportation is not provided by the KCSD. It must be provided by the student’s family. The students will follow their synchronous schedule for classes each day. Each student must provide his/her own computer device and headphones. Access to WIFI will be provided in the SLC.
