Congrats to our KCSD state wrestlers!

The Kenton County School District had several student athletes who participated in the KHSAA State Wrestling tournament in Lexington.

In girls wrestling, Simon Kenton's Devon Banks finished 4th in the state. McKenzie Ratliff, Alayna Banks and Destany Tapp also competed at state.

In boys wrestling, Simon Kenton's Jonah McCloskey finished as state runner up, and Braydan Blevins finished 5th. Other Simon Kenton wrestlers who competed were Ian Lawrence, Parker Smith, Benjamin Woosley and Jaden Rutherford.

Michael Smith from Scott High School finished fourth in his weight class. Other wrestlers from Scott were Tracker Blackburn, Kylan Sturgeon, Aiden Bowling and Mason Krentz.

For Dixie Heights, Xavier Montanez finished fourth in his weight class. Ethan Piasecki, Justin Kidd and Henry Morales also competed in the state tournament.
