The Kenton County School District proudly announces the graduation of 1,100 students from Dixie Heights, Scott, and Simon Kenton High Schools. This remarkable achievement represents years of academic dedication, personal growth, and resilience of the class of 2025.
With an overall true graduation rate of 98.92%, this year’s seniors have reached this important milestone with exceptional success. An impressive 97.12% of graduates are transition ready, signifying their preparedness for college, career, or military pathways.
The Class of 2025 includes 68 students who earned an associate degree or accumulated more than 64 college credit hours while still in high school. Also, our senior class earned a total of 11,853 college credit hours through dual credit highlighting their outstanding commitment to academic advancement.
Collectively, these students were awarded more than $29 million in scholarships, a reflection of their outstanding achievements and promising futures.
Our graduates also excelled with earning industry-recognized certifications, preparing them to continue their training and/or to contribute immediately in the work force. An impressive 23% of our graduating seniors earned 290 industry certifications. Students also gained valuable real-world experience through work base learning and internships, with over 165,452 hours completed across a wide range of industries.
These accomplishments highlight not only the talents and resolve of our students, but also the outstanding and collaborative support of our teachers, families, and community partners. The Class of 2025 leaves behind a legacy of excellence, and we are confident they are well prepared to succeed in in the future.
As the graduates of 2025 leave our school system, we will continue to support them with great pride and encouragement. The district looks forward to watching these young leaders shape the future with purpose and passion.
