  • Using a smart phone, tablet, or pc, log in to your browser and enter https:kcsd.parentportal.trackstar.app/
  • Enter KCSD password: kcsdtrans (make sure all letters are lower case).
  • Enter a three-digit bus number. If your student’s bus number has only one digit, enter 00 before it (for example, to track bus number 2, enter 002). If your student’s bus number has two digits, enter 0 before it (for example, to track bus number 37, enter 037).
  • Click “submit”. This will load the location of your student’s bus as a red pin on the map.
  • If your student’s bus has a substitute, a message will populate showing the substitute bus number, along with a red pin on the map showing the location of the substitute bus.
  • If your student’s bus is delayed, an estimated delay time will show in a blue information box.

Please note: This is not a live action feed. After you log on to see where the bus is, you must refresh your screen to observe movement.

The location signal refreshes every two minutes.  Factor this in when estimating bus arrival times.
