Kenton County School District partners with families to support children in learning beginning at age 3. In the preschool classroom, children are involved in activities filled with wonder and exploration. Eligibility for public preschool requires children be 3 years old with a developmental delay or 4 years old with a developmental delay or income eligible. The next steps to begin the application process are described below.
If your child is, or will be 4 years old by August 1, please reference this income chart for income guidelines. Amounts are prior to taxes and deductions. Child must be 4 years old on or before August 1 of the current school year.
If you have reviewed the income reference chart and believe your child is income eligible, required forms are available below. We look forward to working with you as we review the documentation to determine potential eligibility and next steps for your child. If you have questions, please call the Preschool Office 859-957-2632.
