Projects and Presentations

Types of Projects

Academies scholars also learn how to work with others to demonstrate a variety of skills throughout their high school career. Every project involves scholars identifying a problem or focus area and then building their project around that idea. Each project format is designed by the teachers to include set deliverables, research, data, 7 Areas of the Report Card, and creative visuals.

In the Academies, our scholars are expected to learn and implement a variety of presentation types. This gives them the public speaking skills they need to be successful in college and beyond, but it also teaches the scholars different ways to explain, describe, demonstrate, and communicate knowledge to a professional audience.
