Nominations now open for 2020 NKY Excellence in Education Celebration Awards

Nominations are now open for the annual Excellence in Education Awards. Nominations are due by 5:00 pm, January 31, 2020 and completed applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm, February 14, 2020. Winners will be announced at the end of February and honored at the Excellence in Education Celebration on April 21, 2020.

Read Across America Event on Feb. 29 at Florence Mall Read Across America

Please join the Kenton County School District and other area school districts for the Read Across America Event on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the Florence Mall. This event is hosted by the Northern Kentucky Education Association.

 

Forum on youth vaping to be held Jan. 23 at Ignite vaping flyer

The Northern Kentucky Health Department and other community partners are planning a forum titled, “Prevent the Next Generation of Addiction: A Forum to Stop Youth Vaping” to educate parents and those who work with youth on the dangers associated with youth e-cigarette use.
