Preschool classrooms are located all eleven elementary schools in the Kenton County School District.  Each classroom is staffed with a certified teacher and a teaching assistant. The majority of current preschool teachers are Master’s level teachers with an Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education (IECE) teaching certificate.  All teaching assistants in the preschool program have completed curriculum training and receive ongoing professional development.

Children attend the preschool program five full days a week. Bus transportation is provided within the student's home school enrollment area.  All preschool children eat lunch as part of the daily routine.   The teachers conduct two home visits to each preschool family during the course of each year.  This provides an excellent opportunity for families to gain direct information about child development and how their child is doing in preschool.  Family involvement is strongly encouraged.
