COVID Testing Opt Out

Hello Eagle Families!  The KCSD will be implementing a COVID-19 testing program for school staff and students if Kenton County reaches the threshold of 25 cases per 100,000 people daily.  Dr. Webb released a letter to families with more information regarding this plan (linked below).  This testing model will allow district leadership to make more informed decisions about school or district instructional models if the need should arise due to COVID-19.

While KCSD has an expectation that everyone participates in this testing program if and when the need arises, we recognize that some parents/guardians would not like their child to participate and we are offering the opportunity to opt-out of COVID-19 testing by completing the form found at the link below.

If you are okay with your child being part of this testing program, then no action is required on your part.

Thank you!  Have a wonderful fall break weekend!

Student Athlete COVID-19 Opt-Out of Testing Reminder

As we enter winter sports, it is important to remember that athletes cannot opt out of the COVID-19 testing program. This is discussed in detail on page 40 of the KCSD Re-Entry Guidance Document and in the KCSD Athletic Waiver which must be collected from every athlete.
