2021 Lacrosse Information

 Lacrosse Practices will be conducted following CDC and KHSAA guidelines. 

Anyone who does not follow the guidelines will not be able to participate. 

Any TFMS child is able to participate sports no matter which learning model they are participating in (hybrid, synchronous, or virtual) 

Practices: First Practice is Tuesday March 2nd, 2021
Practices are: Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30-6pm
Practices are held on the TFMS field. Check in begins at 4:20pm 

Spectators are NOT allowed to watch practice in the bleachers or on the field due to Covid-19

What you need to do to participate:  
** Walk ups & late sign ups will not be allowed to participate **
** Deadline for submitting your FamilyID account to be approved to participate is Tuesday 2/23 at 6pm, no entries will be accepted after this deadline* 

1) Complete the athletic packet on Family ID Click Here

(You will be asked to upload your KHSAA physical documents and insurance card to be approved) Please give 24-72 hours for your account to be reviewed after submission. You WILL receive an email following up if your account has been approved or needs changes from the AD. If you don’t receive an email after 72 hours please email AD.

If you already have a family ID account please log back in and make sure “Lacrosse” is checked. This is assuring you are assigned up for lacrosse. If it is not checked you will not be signed up. Questions email AD. 

2) Print and fill out Covid-19 Screening (bring to first day of practice) Click here

Equipment needed to participate: (the school does have some equipment your athlete could borrow for the season but quantity and sizes are limited. These items are marked with an * below ) 

** Be aware that equipment regulations have changed. If you currently have your own equipment please make sure it meets the following requirements **

Important Information you will need to know: 

Check in Procedure prior to practice:
** Check in will not begin until 10 minutes before practice (4:20pm)**

Arrive dressed for practice (this includes cleats on). Athletes can bring a small bag to put equipment in that will sit distant in the bleachers during practice. 

 Arrive in the bus loop by the field and wait in the check-in line. REMAIN IN CAR until you are checked. DO NOT GET OUT OF THE CAR UNTIL YOU are told to.  

 Coach will come to your car to check you in by taking temp & asking covid screening questions
If you have a fever over 100.4 or any covid symptoms, you will not be allowed to stay. 

Those who are approved for practice will exit the car WITH MASK ON and proceed to the field. 

* Masks will be worn until practice begins & after practice

* Bring a water bottle, there are no water coolers or water fountains this year due to Covid*

When picking up your child, pull into the bus loop or parking lot by the gym and remain your car. Players will be released practicing social distance.

If your athlete is participating in a winter sport and their season is over please reach out to the AD to make arrangements. 


Lacrosse Season at a Glance:


The Lacrosse Team is a no-cut, coed sport for TFMS 6th, 7th & 8th graders

Any TFMS child is able to participate sports no matter which learning model they choose
(hybrid, synchronous, or virtual)

Season is from March to May.
No practice/games will be held during spring break. 


CCDC guidelines and KHSAA recommendations will be followed at all practices and games during the season.

Due to game restrictions and facility limitations all games will be away games this season.
Number of Spectators may be limited facilities. 


Cost: $40 athletic fee (cash or check “TFMS athletics”)
